Here is the world famous banana! The original collage has proved to be pretty popular, so we’ve decided to offer (5) limited edition prints mounted on gray paper.

Here is the backstory of the original:

“Comedian II” – You’ve probably read about the piece of conceptual art titled “Comedian” and consisting of banana duct-taped to a wall. Its purchaser, a crypto entrepreneur, bid an ungodly amount of money and upon winning the auction, promptly ate it. You’d have thought he’d at least have used it to make banana bread so it would go further. Or donate the same amount of money to feed hungry families… Well, as an homage of sorts, I offer my MetroCard take on “Comedian.” My version isn’t edible, but this means it will last a lot longer. And it’s not inconveniently taped to a wall – my MetroTape (made from a special edition MetroCard with grey on the back) attaches the MetroBanana to a portable backing which comes with its very own MetroFrame. And for a good deal less than $6.2M, of course. (Apologies to Maurizio Cattelan for borrowing his banana brainstorm.)
