“We All Breaks Down Sometime” - This police car being carried on a flat-bed truck caught my eye as I strolled on Avenue A. I wondered why they didn’t just tow it – wouldn’t that be a lot easier? Then I began wondering if I’d ever seen a police car actually getting towed. I wasn’t sure I had. I was pretty sure, though, I’d never seen one on a flat-bed truck. What happened to it – and why give it this complicated ride? Another minor mystery in a world full of major ones... So here it is, the truck and the car. And Avenue A. The truck and car are rendered in MetroCards, as is the frame. Avenue A is in pen-&-ink and colored pencil.
