"Tree & Shadow"– Sometimes the dusk light seems extra clear, extra vivid – with shadows blacker, starker. That’s the way it was with the shadow of a sapling I saw, looking almost painted onto a white brick wall. I sketched it and then, back at home, tried to recreate what I'd seen using MetroCards
